Your profile as an automation engineer / automation technician
in mechanical engineering
- Completed university degree or further training as a technician in the fields of electrical engineering, mechatronics or robotics
- Several years of programming experience in the areas of motion control and PLC (preferably Beckhoff)
- Cross-departmental interdisciplinary mindset
- High degree of initiative, goal orientation and independent working style
- Strong analytical and abstract thinking skills
- Team player and open to new ideas
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Occasional willingness to travel
Your position as an automation engineer / automation technician
at Printum
- Programming and commissioning (mechanical and electrical) of special rotary machines equipped with Beckhoff control components
- Collaboration in the further development of our cross-platform software standard and integration of the development results into our special systems
- Direct cooperation with the development departments Software Design and Mechanical Design and Sales for project planning tasks
- Development of software modules for rotary web-processing production machines (roll-to-roll and roll-to-piece)
- Technical clarification with customers
- Implementation of customer and process specifications
- Machine support from installation and commissioning through to acceptance and training at the customer’s premises
