Printum is a mechanical engineering company from Ravensburg, Germany, founded in the 1990s. Our company headquarters in the south of Germany is thus located in Baden-Wurttemberg between Stuttgart and the Lake of Constance. But with our customized machinery, we create solutions for an international market: the roll-processing industry.
Almost incredible, considering how many innovative markets process rolled materials daily – from membrane technologies for electronics and medical applications to flexible photovoltaic cells for old-town facades or recyclable packaging for e‑commerce.
Our roots go back to the label printing industry – hence the name “Printum.” After 10 years of intensive cooperation with Nilpeter A/S, one of the leading label press manufacturers, our passion for new challenges led us into the world of custom machine manufacturing for the label converting industry. Label Converting.
By 2013, we began to transfer our extensive know-how from the converting industry to other market segments, such as automotive and packaging.
In 2020, Andreas Weigel and Manuel Friedmann took over the company as part of a corporate succession – Printum GmbH became Printum Technology GmbH.
Today, we are the preferred innovation partner for rotary converting solutions for processing narrow web rollstock.

Hydrogen Moves GmbH is an independent and strategic hydrogen consultant and marketer and offers a digital and interactive knowledge and marketplace platform with the “Hydrogen Universe”.

Together with around 3,500 other mechanical engineering companies, we are a member of the VDMA. We are members of the specialist associations Printing & Paper Technology, Automation & Robotics, Packaging & Automation, and EMINT (Electronic, Micro, and New Energy Production Technologies). We are also a member of the Working Group Fuel Cell.
